First of all apologies as the website has been down for a while but its all fixed now!
Current activities going on in the club:
6 week coaching with Tennis Ireland Coach Gary Beresford for Children and Adults is currently taking place on Friday Afternoons and Evenings so the courts are busy up to 830pm on Fridays!
Ladies night is still happening on Tuesdays - Make sure your on the whatsapp group - reminders are sent every week and you can get an idea of the numbers heading over!
Club Night is Thursdays - again, make sure your on the whatsapp group!

We have Court Booking Sheets now to enable people to book courts ( obviously not on Ladies / Club or Coaching nights) these are on Google Sheets so please email rathangantennispro@gmail.com with your Gmail email to get access if you don't already have it!

Term 1 is 5 weeks ( weather permitting) from Jan 20th to Feb 17th.

7-9 year olds at 11am

10-12 year olds at 12pm

From our always brilliant Captains Day and Kevin Tiernan Cup Day to the night that the Ghouls and Witches took over the courts at Halloween... it was another great year at Rathangan Tennis Club!

A small update on some of the goings on in our club:

Junior coaching continues on Sunday Mornings 11:00-13:00

Courts have been sprayed for moss and weeds

Cabin roof has been mended and cable ties are all secured again after the high winds

Great RTC representation in the Delaney Cup in Athy on 29th Sept with John and Mary also making it to the final! Well done everyone

There are a couple of Doubles pairings playing in the Abbeyleix open week this week - Best of Luck to all!

There will be a Halloween night at the court on Halloween week - Keep an eye on the WhatsApp for more details!

Don't forget to get your entries in for our Annual Kevin Tiernan on the 14th too!

Cardio Tennis and Tennis Coaching - interested?

Cormac Doherty TennisIreland Coach is commencing same this Friday - Cardio Tennis from 7 - 8 and Tennis Coaching from 8 - 9 for adults its ten euros per session.

Cormac is a fantastic coach and has been involved with our club since 2017. If you are interested please contact Maura or email rathangantennispro@gmail.com

CardioTennis is not only for tennis skills its also a great way to get fit.

This years Classic will be running from 24th to 30th June!

Format:

Mixed Doubles

C Section

B Section

Entry fee - 10 euro

Start time will be 7pm each evening, if later start is required this must be advised on entry

Partners can be organised but please let Mary know early if this is needed.

All entries to Mary McCrann or email rathanganpro@gmail.com and they will be passed on.

Closing Date for entries is 19th June.
